Jah9 announces UNAFRAID US West Coast Tour 2017

Greetings one and all,

Give thanks for the gift of life and the guidance of the ancestors on our journey.

The time is steadily approaching when Jah9 and the Dub Treatment Band will make their musical transit throughout the US West Coast for the summer tour called ‘Unafraid’. After being featured on the Chronology Tour in North America hosted by Chronixx, Jah9 was thrilled by the love and positive energy received and anticipates the opportunity to serve once again.

“Unafraid” Tour kicks off on May 28 at California Roots Fest then down to LA for the UCLA Jazz Fest. The Dub Treatment will then move up the coast for a number of club dates including Sacramento, San Diego & Nevada City, CA. Mellow Mood will join Jah9 for a string of dates from June 8 – 11 in Oregon & Seattle. Jah9 & band will make there way into Canada for the Victoria Ska fest and special opening set for Tarrus Riley in Vancouver. Of special note is “Yoga on Dub” in Vancouver which will take place on June 13.

Naming the tour ‘Unafraid’ goes beyond just the issues in a track on the “9” album, and speaks to a confidence and strength that is made possible when there is a collective consensus to overcome fear and limitation. Jah9 with the Dub Treatment will be bringing this experience to the West Coast. The tour details are as follows:
